myfavoritecar Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 I have a '97 Legacy with a 2.2. Of course, my oil pump is leaking like a banshee. I've done it before when I did the timing belt, but didn't do a good enough job apparently. This time, I'm planning on using OEM seals and o-ring. I was wandering what should be used as a sealer for the edges of the oil pump? Last time I just used black RTV silicone. I've read somewhere else that somebody recommended using that red sticky stuff that doesn't really dry. Your thoughts and any installation tricks would be appreciated.
