PGV Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 My 06 LGT MT Limited was doing the old CEL and cruise blinking thing. Pulled the code and it was P2097 which indicates post catalyst fuel trim system too rich bank 1. I cleared it but it reappeared about 50 miles later. I live in New York and can't get inspected with any check engine problem that is emission related. I brought the car to the dealership and they want in the area of 300 bucks for the fix which I think consisted of replacing the O2 sensor. My question is this: are O2 sensors covered under the 8 year 80K emission warranty. Anyone have the skinny on this so I'll be able to argue tomorrow when I pick up the car? Thanks.
