tedsan126
Im doing a DOHC head swap onto my 2.2L legacy. I was wondering if anyone knew where i can get the EJ25D DOHC heads. I need the cylinder heads from a 1998 or similar year GT Legacy. Only the GT legacy has the DOHC heads. back in the day the DOHC setup is what made a legacy a GT unlike the turbo it todays GT. datdookie
Dont have any information but what would this head swap exactly do to the car as performance difference because i also have a 2.2L. Oh and i have the phase one motor, heard they're reliable but not good for any hp gains.
tedsan126
yea there not power house engines but they can be made to be quick. the head swap prob around twenty hp gain possibly more cause i gotta bunch of mod's. new valves, when i go to a DOHC setup im gonna get bad ass cams which will give me another significant gain. and im not just doin the heads im rebuildin a 2.2L engine. when im done i should have some serious hp gains. thats the idea anyway
