Chriscg
Hi, I have just replaced my EJ20R with a EJ20H (could not find a good EJ20R). I transfered the EJ20H into the car, not realising the wiring etc is different. I did plug the EJ20H into the original loom and attempted starting no go. Then I realised the differences. Anyways now I have transfered the manifold, loom, everything from the EJ20R to the H. I have no spark and the right side (drivers) coils seem to overheat with the ignition left on (only takes 2 minuites) so hot the ignotor covers are melting. Left side seems fine. Any suggestions on what problem I have here.. Cheers
Reuben
Erm. Never seen that before. Bloody coil packs, i hate the things. You should have just fixed the R! I can't imagine what it might be after our PM convo, how about you try clubsub.org.nz, there's a few guy's on there that really know their stuff.
