GTkansan Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Is the resonator in an XO2 exhaust directional? Installed an xo2 set and it is so damn loud! The noise is mainly coming from under floor, not from the cans themselves. Any chance I have the resonator in backwards and it is not cancelling the noise like it should? goneskiian Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 From what I've read the mid pipe will only fit on one way. It's very likely you've got it on correct. What other mods do you have? Headers and catless DP's can make the exhaust louder. You could have a leak too. Have you climbed under the car with it running to have a listen? m sprank Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 Mine only fit 1 direction. Check the down pipe to cbe flange, its possibly leaking causing the noise.
