grimlin Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 So, I was making a run to the store yesterday in Highland Village, just down the street from the new shop in Flower Mound, and I got in a small accident. I was in my '02 Dodge Durango 5.9 R/T and I was hit by.. of all cars... a Subaru Legacy It was a '97 Legacy Outback Wagon and it took it like a champ. The only damage was a cracked bumper. It was the kid's first accident, but he was pretty cool. My car however... The Legacy hit the corner where my driver's side door meets my running board and fender. At the scene it looked pretty minor, just couldn't open the door, but when I got back to the shop Keith got under the car and looked at it. It looks like my tow is broken, and the control arm shifted/broke. Also, sounds like my transfer case is messed up now. And since the repair to value ratio is too high, it seems like the insurance company is going to total out my Durango (this is what the lady said her computer said on Saturday, but I'll know for sure later this week).
