klrtovfr
Hi I bought repossessed 2007 2.5i sedan. The title loan place only had what I guess would be the valet key. It only works in the ignition and nothing else. Is there a cheaper place besides the dealer where I can get a master key and keyless fob and also have it programmed? captainhook
Fred Beans is a dealer and they could certainly do it, but that's something that may need to be done in person.
adidasoutback
I think all they need is the vin and they can pull program codes from SONA and send them to you programed. But dont quote me on that.
napstermike
you need to take the car to the dealer and provide proof of ownership for them to cut you a key (remote). otherwise. alot more cars would be stolen!
MOMSWGN
Jeremy at FredBeans will cut the key with the VIN. http://www.fredbeansparts.com/servlet/the-3688/Subaru-Legacy-%27All-In/Detail
stanjk3
The keys (with an immobilizer chip) can only be programmed at the dealer, cost me $75. You can find key fobs on ebay for ~$20. You can program them yourself. Friends don't let friends drink cheap beer.
camflan
Jeremy at FredBeans will cut the key with the VIN. http://www.fredbeansparts.com/servlet/the-3688/Subaru-Legacy-%27All-In/Detail You'll still need to take it into a dealer with all of your keys so they can program the immobilizer chip. MOMSWGN
Right, I did not state that it includes programming.
