I replaced all the headlight illumination bulbs in the switches and heater/ac control in my '02 Outback wagon using bulbs from radio shack. Now, the dimmer doesn't work. The gauges are at full brightness when I have the headlights on. I replaced the combination switch (at $100) and it still doesn't work. So, I disconnected all the switches and heater/ac control figuring I'd done something wrong and I could isolate which switch caused the problem and still no difference. I can't figure this one out.
