brad_in_denver
Hey folks, I just failed Colorado emissions with a Cobb downpipe with hi-flow cat. Along with stinky exhaust (forgot to reset back to the stock map which I think I did last time when I passed), they could not find the second (front) O2 sensor and I didn't know for sure where it was until I got back home and did some research. I think I see it sticking out of the Y-junction of the headers under the plastic shroud, but you can hardly see it even with the shroud off. Does anyone happen to have a picture that includes this sensor? It's a 2005 GT with auto tranny. Thanks!
scoobydoobie
on the passenger side of the exhaust manifold. Only pic I have of it is off the car, but should give you an idea where its located. http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/5940/stg06.jpg
brad_in_denver
Thanks mucho! I read somewhere that it's only viewable with the plastic underbody tray removed, or possibly through the oil filter cover panel that swings aside. Either way, the emissions guys are going to have to jack it and get under there with me
