socalsleeper Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Subies are very easy to work on. But the trans is a heavy MOFO!! Dropping the trans is the way to go. If you are new to cars pay a pro to do it and save yourself the hassle. I had 2 torx bits break pulling out the flywheel bolts and if you need your car to get around like most of us do. That could be a major party pooper. BTW the frist was a Snap-ON bit and I am a pro still a PITA!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
