BikeyMcRider Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 I have a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback with about 160,000 miles on it. Recently replaced EGR valve because it kept throwing a P0400 code and needed to pass inspection. car ran great for two weeks, but is now sputtering and almost stalling when moving from a complete stop. Once I'm past first gear the car runs fine (as far as I can tell.) Note: this doesn;t happen when the car is cold, only after it heats up. This also happens during heavy downpours, but not just in first gear. I have a loss of power all the way up to 3rd gear. The engine will rev with the clutch in, but maxes out at about 1500 RPM's (sputtering the whole time) when in gear. Please Help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
