camaro.hair
My 07 OBXT dash began rattling like crazy a couple of months ago. After a trip to the dealership, it turns out to have a handful of broken dash clips. I was told by the dealership that my premier coverage does not cover broken dash clips, and they want $500 to fix them. This car is stock, and has never had the dash removed. SERIOUSLY?? Does anyone have a suggestion???
ClimberDHexMods
call/write Subaru of America (I am assuming here that they broke the clips during x warranty work, which would make it a lot easier to argue your case). [CENTER][B][I] Front Limited Slip Racing Differentials for the 5EAT now available for $1895 shipped, please inquire for details! LongHiway
07? Basic "Bumper to Bumper" warranty unless, you've been hauling pig iron on your dashboard. How many miles? > 36 K you may be screwed. No clue on premier coverage, typically these cover stuff that does not break...
pillboy
So is it the clip that is broke or the tab that is molded onto the dash part (that the clip fits on to) that is broken? If the tab is broken off, the whole piece of the dash would have to be replaced and that is probably why the price is so high. I agree with ClimberD...see if the car had any previous work done to it related to the dashboard area. Most likely it has been apart and whomever did it broke it. It is still ugly.
