illt3ck
I'm looking to pick up a up-pipe / downpipe today (order at least) and I'm looking to find which of both retain oem fitment. I believe in a previous thread someone installed the pde up-pipe & perrin downpipe and ended up having to make several permanent adjustments to the heat shields? Doe anyone know of a u/d combo that will retain stock fitment?

illt3ck
I guess I'm going to wait for better choices to come out. The other legacygt member that installed the perrin dp had to make considerable modifications to the heatshield to get it installed?
LandShark
put a perrin DP in my LGT 5MT with hardly a single thing done. trimmed a small corner off a heatshield under the car but no changes to the firewall. piece of cake with no complications. Did you cut for clearance issues or rubbing issues?
firedawgs
There are too many combos to say; except for everyone has an opinion. Mine is this: Make sure the uppipe has a flex fitting and the downpipe has an opening for the wastegate. Updated my vBGarage:
