DHL1010
Do you know the part number so that I can buy it from Subaru dealer? Or where can I get it? Thanks...
subiedad51
subaru 22326AA010 - $2.00 at subaru. I was told you can also use a welding tip (1mm) from Lowes which is more like .88 cents. For $2 I'll go with the Subaru part. You'll have to order it since no one stocks it.
LittleBlueGT
Success with porting the WG. If/when I get the pics, I will provide more details. Spec B
Awesome...success as in you ported it, bolted it back up to the car and you are no longer overboosting or success as in you ported it without ruining the turbo?
LittleBlueGT
Awesome...success as in you ported it, bolted it back up to the car and you are no longer overboosting or success as in you ported it without ruining the turbo? Didn't ruin the turbo, it actually came apart very easily. The turbo still creeps, don't get me wrong, but in the sub-0 (F) weather it was creeping right up to boost targets, just enough for us to run to 6300 rpm on 550 cc top-feed injectors. Which is where the limiter is set. In the summer he will be running alky, and then all will be well. Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!! Spec B
Nice! I just took at the boost creep graph above..that looks MUCH worse than mine. Mine boost stays @ ~9 psi until 4500 rpm than it shoot up to 16 by 6000 rpm.

Mine boost stays @ ~9 psi until 4500 rpm than it shoot up to 16 by 6000 rpm. And your run was done at 32F or so, this was done at 0F. BIG DIFFERENCE! Actually a HUGE difference. His turbo creeped very similar to yours when it was 60F outside. My VF40 on stage2 would creep up to 16.3 psi in the real cold. At any rate, here is an overlay of the logs from before, both at 0F, both in 3rd gear: http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/littlebluegt/creepbeforeandafter.gif Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!!
