aigochamaloh
Especially since you're tracking the car, I'd strongly suggest getting some reinforcements for the rear sway mounts - you may have noticed when you were doing the install that they're a little weak...they've been known to bend or even break under the stress of a stiffer bar! AVO, Cobb, Perrin all make various reinforcements. Here's a side view of my Cobb bracket (I believe Perrin is basically the same design, while AVO is a bit different): http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t265/Spoonwacker/CobbRSBBracket.jpg Love the video! Way to go 2.5i Cheers! Thanks! I will probably get some Perrin mounts, as I still don't understand how the AVO's work. I don't get the little loops on the side. Spoonwacker
The "loops" on the AVO surround the bit that mounts to that bigass subframe bolt that you have to take out to attach all of these mounts...this post show how it goes together: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2393007&postcount=20 FYI, that bolt is a major PITA...I suggest being prepared with lots of PB Blaster, a 12" breaker bar, and a 3 foot lead pipe... sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER
Drew888
Thanks for posting the video. Next time zoom in a bit more and we should be able to see the road better. The cam is adjusting for your interior. When did you go? What event? When are you going next? The cam is adjusting for your interior. When did you go? What event? When are you going next? Yea it was alright in the beginning of the day but as the sun came out more it washed out. I'm going to try to find a better camera solution, as I'd like to hear engine noise as well. This was 9/20, at Streets of Willow. I'm not sure the next time I'll be tracking.
