OBmel Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 I have the opportunity to swap an H6( It's a 2001 with 17K Miles) Into my 2000 Outback wagon(Auto Tranny). Question for you guys is, can this be done. ALso, What if any major problems will I have or Have along the way of putting the engine in? How much would this typically cost to get done. SUBE555 Posted March 18, 2005 Share Posted March 18, 2005 The engine will fit and is able to work, I just haven't done it or looked into it. Actually I wanted to put an EG33 from the SVX into my old 97 GT, but looked past it when the new GT came out. It can most certainly be done, there was someone who put a first generation EZ30 in an old Impreza for their rally car.
