craigsward Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 So i'm considering purchasing this wagon with 29k miles on it, blue color. It is in immaculate condition. It passed the pre purchase inspection. The only snafu is it has a salvage history. It was a CA car that was stolen and claimed a complete loss after 30 days. I have seen the insurance records from State Farm. The car was recovered and it was obviously a joy rider because they took nothing. There was a decent size dent on the passenger front door, but that was fixed. The car was retitled and passed all inspections to be street legal. I can't see any challenges aside from the obvious hit it will take on resale because of the salvage history. However i would buy this car out right and keep it for a long time so not a real issue for me. Anything i'm missing that you would be concerned about? I can pick it up for $14300.
