New to the family

Recommended Posts

So my dad was in the market for a new car. He was kind of all over the place as he did not really know what he wanted. My mom says the Chevy Malibu, I did not say anything, kind of let it go, but kept forwarding all the lovely articles about how the car is horrible in even 5 mph hits.

One day he asked to take my LGT for the nav. It was a nice day so I said sure and took my bike to work. At this point he has a deposit on a Malibu already. He comes home and says to me "thats the nicest driving car I have driven in a very long time." I say thanks and think nothing of it.

The next day I hear him tell my mom that he canceled the deal on the Malibu and wants to go to Subaru to look at Legacys.

I went with him, kind of wanted to drive the new legacy(its not that ulgy in person :hide: ). He was about to sign on a base 2010 2.5i SE. The manager said they would give us a left over 3.0R fully loaded for the same price as a base 2010 2.5i. So now my drive way looks like this:

She is fine, they got the 3.0r for less than what Chevy wanted for the Malibu. The 3.0R is just so much more of a car than the Malibu. Her only problem is she does not like leather seats.

Nice the 3.0 is a solid engine too and similar power to the 2.5T.

Now just give your father the blisten suspension while you go coilovers.

Tell your mom to get seat covers.
