Roja618
The receiving end bolt of the caliber assembly seems to be stuck in the petruded position. From what i remember on the front right brake both top and bottom bolt receivers had a little give. Obvious it wouldnt work any other way. I WD40'd it and have been trying to get it to compress but no luck. Also I noticed uneven wear on one on the pads and one of the pistons gave me a much harder time compressing then the other. Currently debating my options of a new oem sized brake kit considering I dont have enough money for bbk let alone larger wheels to accompany it. Any suggestions? SubyShop.com
Try spraying it with some brake cleaner to loosen it up. So the nut is sticking out too far, not allowing the caliper to move back into position properly? If you have a piston that is sticking, you could get a Subaru caliper rebuild kit with new seals and rings for the pistons. That is the most cost effective option instead of buying new calipers. Last I looked the rebuild kit is $25 or so per pair of calipers. -Franz
