Help with bushings

loc

Recommended Posts

I went to the dealership the other day because the front end was clunking pretty bad and has been for the past couple months. I come to find out that my lower control arm bushings were torn on both sides. I had replaced them about a year ago with the avo offset kit. Is this supposed to happen this quick. My car is lowered with a rallitek springs. I try to avoid potholes and bumpy roads as much as I can. What should I do next? I just looking for something that will last and be somewhat smooth. Any suggestions?

At the very least I would go with the 08/09 STi bushings all the way around the LCA. I have noticed that on the 08/09 WRX there is a spacer between the body and the bushing which is absent on a LGT. I'm wondering if this is sort of anti lift kit and would like to know the opinion of others. If it is an anti lift kit I would buy the spacer and the bracket and have it installed at the same time.
