typeSpeed
I was reading on i-club.com some people help extend the life of their factory turbos by waiting at least 30 seconds before shutting the car off. This helps extend turbo lifespan considerably. Is this true? Silver-Arts.com - Custom web design
firedawgs
Well it is the same idea of a turbo timer; which I had in my WRX. These newer turbo subies are way more efficient. Subaru got smart and routed the coolant top to bottom too, so when the car is turned off the coolant still travels down cooling the turbo down a bit. I only let the car idea for 30secs. if I have been racing it. Updated my vBGarage:
