alphatarget1 Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 I was driving to the airport when I saw a big ass piece of concrete (probably a broken curb) in the middle of the road. I managed to avoid most of it but I still hit the rock with my right passenger rim. Car seems okay, but when I got out I saw where the rim hit the rock and it's somewhat messed up. Don't have pics right now, I'll take some when I pick the car up. How much do they usually charge for "straightening" a wheel if it's fixable? I hope it doesn't deflate by the time I get back... HarryN Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 How big a piece of concrete was it? Do you feel any wobbling in the steering wheel at 40 or 60 or 70 mph? Or is it immediate? It was wobbling a little before when I pressed on the brakes (which I attributed to brake discs). Yeah, it's better to just get a new set or a used set from someone... I'll look into it. Thanks!
