At a stoplight, I pulled up beside what looked like a nicely modded black GT wagon. We both rolled down our windows and started chatting, the nice guy in the wagon explained that his was actually fairly stock, and that it was “a gift from Japan” (but it was, curiously, left hand drive), and it was pushing out 325hp in stock form. Maybe he was a Subaru executive? I didn't have the chance to ask him. Anyhow, as he pulled away, the only badge it had on the back was a small “B4” on the right side of the hatch. It could have been a DIY mod, but the middle-aged guy didn’t seem like the modding type. It also had a great exhaust note. Anyway, cool car and a fun exchange.
