crazyravr
I this whine / huming noise when I go at anything over 20mph. Then is just gets louder and "faster" the faster I go. Its been happening for a week now. Is this a wheel bearing issue? It seems to be coming from the back of the car and it just amplifies inside and gets very very annoing. Car has got 68K miles on it now and its an '07.
987687
68k miles on an '07? Wow, you get around! But yea, sounds like wheel bearing.

crazyravr
Before I take it in... is this still covered by warranty or am I out of luck at 68K miles? Its a 2007 LGT.
987687
Unless you have the 100k mile coverage, no.
crazyravr
Well $300 CDN later and the noise is gone. Rear driver's side wheel bearing was shot.
Guest
At least on 05 SOA extended the warranty to 100k. You may check if that applies to your car, but of course SCI may be different.
HipsterDoofus
Good thing you got it fixed, i was going to suggest you get your muffler bearings rotated and waxed. Also, you might want to check your headlight fluid.
