hbboarder87
ok so i got some tires earlier this year for winter. my stock tires started to make that "you need new tires" howling noise. i decided to go with the goodyear eagle gts. they gave me amazing traction in the snow. but i noticed that they are freakishly loud. i have only put 7k miles on them but they have been howling ever since. does anyone else notice this? could it be that i need something else? the endlinks look tired... could it be a suspension issue? thanks mike
Bbc84
It could just be your tires, or worst it could be a wheel bearing. My brand new summer tires makes that howling noise, at first I though I broke the car when i swapped my new rims and tires on. It was so loud I thought all 4 wheel bearings went out on my car. I had my dealer drive my car on the lift to listen to wheel bearing noise, thats how they found one that was bad, before I swapped my wheels. Had them do it again with my summer wheels and they said they didnt hear anyting so it was just the tires for me now.
