politby Posted July 18, 2009 Share Posted July 18, 2009 I'm just about to install a rear view camera on the tailgate of my '05 Outback. I have pulled the wires as far as the back seat. Now I need to route the wires behind the liner on the left side of the cargo area, up behind the real pillar and through the rubber thing into the inside of the tailgate. 1) How do I remove the left side liner and the cover on the rear pillar? 2) Where is a good place to tap into 12V accessory power in the trunk/tailgate area? This is not to power the camera (it will be connected to the backup lights) but for the combined mirror/display up front. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
