red beast
i bought the 500 degree paint and the 1500 degree paint the 500 goes on WITHOUT HEAT curing. the 1500 degree needs 60 minutes to dry and then must be cured by baking it at 650 degrees for 60 minutes. do you think the mufflers will get hot enough for 60+ minutes of idle? Guest *Jedimaster*
I doubt it. I think the 500 degree stuff will do the trick. I'm sure the mufflers won't get to 650 degrees.

I remember reading about people painting their mufflers with black engine paint- the same stuff they used to do their headlight mods on the WRX, which was the 500 degree stuff. You should be fine.
