violhence
I drive a 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5i (automatic transmission) and I am doing the 30k service. One of my friends is a mechanic so he knows what he is doing when it comes to this stuff but just wanted to make sure I get the correct transmission fluid and differentail fluid for this task. Which ones do I use? I read on a separate post (related to manual transmission 05+ cars) that one guy used 4 QT Redline 75W90NS for the Front Transmission 1 QT Redline 75W90 Gear Oil for the Rear End Is this what I need to buy or is there something else? My car is an automatic not a MT and it is a 2007
ShrinerMonkey
You need Automatic Transmissions Fluid NOT gear oil for your transmission. Just get the Subaru fluid, it is universal to all Subie ATs, synthetic, and cheap.
