To trade or not to trade

I am thinking about replacing my 2003 Mercury Marauder with an '05 Legacy GT. I haven't even driven one yet however I am confident I will not be dissapointed, I just was wondering if you guys on this board think that I can get more than 20mpg out of the GT at 65-70 all highway, also does the Legacy require premium fuel?

Thanks in advance for your opinions/advice

P.S. What does a stock Legacy GT do in the 0-60 and the 1/4

Cruising at 65-70 you will get above 20mpg with no problems - its how fast you get up to 65-70 by using the boost is where the gas gets eaten. The legacy does require premium because of the turbo for optimum performance, althrough you can run regular and the knock sensor/computer will pull timing and your performance will suffer during acceleration.

I get about 19-22/g at 85-95 on the sloping hills of I55 from chicago to springfield IL. This is on the stock tires all winter with the climate control on and the windows up.
No, the name has nothing to do with bragging about 20 inch wheels...
