Another painting project finished

Someone mentioned the other day in a thread about good DIY projects about painting the yellow caps under the hood. That sounded like a good idea, so I did it. I used DupliColor color changing paint. Its a red/blue color that changes when you look at it at different angles. Kind of the color of the rest of the car at certian angles, so I figured it would look good. It definitely blends in better than before. That yellow was a little loud for the rest of the look in my opinion.

I think I'll go back over the raised areas with a black marker before I clear coat them. I wanted to see if I liked em like this before I cleared them. I actually like them sort of non glossy. Maybe I'll skip the clear.

Now I understand why you chose your handle! :)

 

I haven't even started yet. lol Check back with me in 5 years when the car looks just as good as it does now. ;)
