firepyro515
Hey guys Quick question, I will be picking up a set of rallitek springs in the next couple weeks. Rallitek says that they will lower the rear about .9 inches and the front about 1.1 inches. In looking at it, I'm wondering if there will be enough space to lower the back end, it looks like it is gonna be really close. Wheels - 17x7. 42mm Tires - 205/50 R17 Any help would be great! Thanks
apexjr
Well I just put them on tonight, so they may not have completely settled, only put around 40 miles on them. There is around 1.5-2 finger gap in the rear at the moment ... so it should be fine... but you have a 42 offset, which probably puts your wheels at or slightly past the fender right? That means you are more likely to rub when the car is weighed down and you are going around corners.
firepyro515
Thats my concern. The tires are a little past the fender. Think i should roll the fenders?
apexjr
If they are past the fenders I would think rolling them probably won't help you out. You could ask a tire shop, they probably could tell you for sure.
firepyro515
its up in the air, the wheels aren't, but the tires are cutting it pretty close especially if it is lowered
