Dim Dash Display

Anyone else think the dash display is too dim? Unless you have the headlights on, you can't use the brightness button. I had an '04 STI with the same type display, and it was way brighter than the Legacy. Usually had to turn it down a few notches.

I've got the display on ILL6, and it is hard to see during the day sometimes.

have you pushed the light button on the trip computer?

I always have my headlights on - during the day I simply push the light button on the left of the trip computer. I find the brightness more than sufficient. It is equivelant to not having the headlights on.

I feel the brightness is sufficient. IIRC there is a brightness inidicator on the left stalk or dash which may allow you to turn it up. I always keep it set up.

I find mine to be plenty bright!

The only time mine looks dim is if the sun is shining on it. But I don't think I want them to be brighter than the sun.

Yup mine is on the left stalk too but its a PITA in the day time when yr running yr fogs like I do, cant see anything then. Liked the feature in the new MY05 OB, has a function where you can turn all the lights to inside to normal. Great feature.
