choppedair Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 Just put a 26'' resonator on my exhaust and It sounds deeper, less raspy and has less drone. Its a custom 3'in with magnaflow cans, I also have perrin ELH. What brand? Have a link? I put in the magnaflow catback yesterday and so far I love it. So does my wife (it is her car afterall). But we have family visiting around the holidays and I have a feeling the backseat is going to be a little loud, especially after a long drive back from the airport. I am thinking about having a resonator or muffler installed in the straight section after the cats, but it's got to be small diameter and ideally 3" in/out. I would rather not have anything smaller to bottleneck there as I plan on a DP later as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

choppedair Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 Ok thanks, I'll take a look. I found the 4" round magnaflow muffler on their website that is 3" in/out too. I don't think I'll do anything with it soon, I love the sound and don't want to lose too much of it. If anything I'll have a new section made that I can swap in/out in case I think it is too quiet with an extra muffler or resonator in there.
