Before I go though, I would love to have at least one more fun meet-up. So, here is the plan. There is a neat area called 11-mile Canyon within the National Forest that has a few campgrounds right beside the water. The area itself is just past the town of Florissant. (I'll give you maps soon, don't worry. ) The best part is the water is great for sitting in inner-tubes and floating in. So, here is the proposal. A couple of us drive to 11 Mile Canyon and camp Friday night.(Assuming everyone doen't want to camp) Everyone else makes a drive down from Denver or across from the Springs on Saturday Morning. We cook-out and tube all Saturday afternoon (and some of us drink) We grill dinner to, or go into Florrisant/Lake George. Whoever wants to camp Sat. night can, everyone one else heads back. Here are two upcoming weekends. Choose either or both, if you can do both. Then, choose which of the 3 options you would like to participate in. I for example, can do either weekend and would camp both nights... Who's up for it? Of course Family/Sign. Friday Camp, Saturday Meet, and Saturday Camp 1. praedet 2. 3. 4. 5. June 26th-28st Weekend Sat June 26th Saturday Meet only 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Friday Camp and Saturday Meet 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Friday Camp, Saturday Meet, and Saturday Camp 1. praedet 2. 3. 4. 5. Once that is done we will work on this Food Preparation Stuff 2 Portable Grills - praedet has one 2 portable camp stoves - praedet has 1 2 burner stove Pots and Pans - praedet has a camp frying pan and cook set Paper plates - Napkins - Plastic silverware - Dishwashing Bucket - Food Meat for Friday night - praedet will bring burgers for everyone Veggies for Friday Night - Starch for Friday Night - Booze for Friday Night - Meat for Saturday Breakfast - Starch for Saturday Breakfast - OJ and Coffee for Saturday Breakfast - Meat for Saturday Lunch - Veggies for Saturday Lunch - Starch for Saturday Lunch - Booze for Saturday Lunch - Meat for Saturday Night - Veggies for Saturday Night - Starch for Saturday Night - Booze for Saturday Night - Sunday Breakfast at "The Coffee House" in Florrisant, trust me Other Stuff? Don't forget tubes/towels/trunks... For saturday the 13th, it's questionable as I have dinner plans w/ my office. any of the others dates count me in for the meet!
