so i just installed the sways and endlinks on front and back and the directions say to make sure that the endlinks are perpendicular to the ground. i got them as close as possible but they still dont seem to be perfect. anybody have the same problems, or is it a problem?

You think it's worth taking it apart to add washers?

The instructions state "Included with the kit are extra 3/8" washers to help align endlink perpendicular to the ground. NOTE: It is critical to align endlinks perpendicular to the ground when suspension is loaded. Failure to do so can damage endlinks."

The included washers were not enough. So I went and bought more 3/8" grade 8 washers and used 2 more per endlink to get the alignment as close as possible. The endlink pivot is a Heim joint. If the joint is forced (at an angle) beyond its limit, it WILL snap. That is why it is important to align them perpendicular to the ground. That way the suspensions range of motion does not exceed the endlinks range of motion. :)

Hmm, looks like I'm going to Lowes.

Sweet deal, I'll get on that this week. Is the stock bolt long enough to fit the correct number of washers?

The bolt supplied by Perrin was more than long enough. All I needed were the extra washers.

I would also recommend something like these....

So you don't have to experience this...

I got about two years of use with occaisional spirited cornering (wife typically drives the Legacy) before they let go. If you drive any more agressively that the average housewife then you might consider the reinforced mounting brackets.

From the pics looks like there are no support brackets installed in the rear. My Cobb bars came with extra supports as well. Deff. recommend getting something before a mount tears out.

Yeah, it appears you're right. That's odd. Here's what mine look like: http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu325/tunedlgt/Picture009.jpg
