nrankin81
I'm new to the Forum and I have a question regarding Air Intakes. I have a 2005 Legacy non turbo and planning to add two univeral Remus mufflers. While I was going to make this change I was thinking I would change the Air Intake as well but, haven't seen to many for a non turbo Legacy. Cosmo Racing has a Cold Air System and Weapon R Dragon and Secret weapon seem to be the only ones I can find. I've heard a lot of mix reviews regarding the weapon r air intake. Does anyone have any experience with these air intakes and is it worth the money or should I just forget the whole thing all together? Thanks... WompaStompa
I just got the Cosmo CAI, it's great, nice and loud when accelerating, has a nice whoosh sound when you tap the gas. Fits perfect
stanjk3
Not sure about the non-turbo engines, but for the GT the stock airbox is fine until you go stage 3. A CAI will actually make the engine run lean w/o a tune. Save your money and just buy a Blitz or Avo panel air filter instead. Either will add the same wooshing sound when you accelerate. Friends don't let friends drink cheap beer.

DrCloud
^^ Yeah, it is -- but, then, most air-intake discussions I've seen fall into the "rumors" category quite nicely. Anybody want to buy a vortex generator? HPH
