BAC5.2
So I got my broken 6cd unit in the mail today. Started taking it apart... and it's really simple. I do need some information from someone who has removed their single CD unit. I need high-def pictures of the back of the face plate. I also need high-def pictures of the actual radio. If I could take my car apart, I would, but unfortunately that isn't a possibility. So far, it appears that the plan of attack will be to cut off the auto-climate-control section of the board, cut a hole in the single-CD faceplate for the LOAD button, and use the 6-disc LCD and buttons, in the modified single-CD shell. But, I want to be sure. Any help would be definitely appreciated. zmarko
I wish you well, but I highly doubt this will work.
ean611
What zmarko said. Keep in mind, there are pics of cut and re-assembled PCB from the highline car audio kit build pics, and it is a lot of work. You have to manually solder each point you cut.
