issai
Both headlights seem dimmer than the vast majority of cars out there. Unsure of how old or new they are-- but I don't want to drop $ buying a set from dealer if it won't improve the brightness. Ultimately I wanna go HID but no time to install that soon. vtbimmer
Every subaru Ive owned has crappy headlights. The best bulbs you can buy hands down are Osram Siverstars (not Sylvania). But IMO they just dont cut it. My HID's only took 1 hr to install and they are worth every penny.
issai
Alright, thanks. Well, I consider headlights a primary safety feature / issue so I may accelerate my HID plans.

iNVAR
http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45991 First post there. I went exactly with what Daniel Stern recommended... namely: Lowbeams: H7 rallye+65: 65w, 2100 lumens, 500 hours, $26.40/ea Highbeams: new: HIR1, 12.8V, 65W, 2530 lumens, 320 hours Put H3 Gold bulbs ($13.50/ea) in the fog lamps. Biggest improvement was made to the lowbeams... it's a jump from 1400 lumens to 2100 lumens!
