Wraith40k
It took 3 days to break my Subie . Apparently the fuel voltage sensor isn't getting enough, well, voltage. so they have to replace it... I have heard this is a common issue with Subaru- anyone have any history with this?
jim1969
what were the symptoms?
Wraith40k
an orange glow behind the letters that read "Check Engine" and a green flashing "cruise". No symptoms. Car drives fine. its a P1446 error (Thanks cobb access port for reading that!) The dealer checked it yesterday, reset the code, and it came back on driving out of the lot. So today they are fixing it.

Wraith40k
same timing (within 24 hours of picking it up). The official 'issue' is: Fuel Tank Sensor Control Valve Circuit Low Whatever that means. A friend of mine had the same problem with his WRX and they had to replace the sensor... Wraith40k
Update from the dealer: Everything works fine and it is the computer that isn't interpreting the data correctly. He still has my car (probably driving it around town, smoking in it and having his wet dog lay on my leather seats...) Hopefully I will get it back today so I can put my AVO filter in it. I miss my baby.
