bphersh
I'm thinking of buying a 1991 legacy L wagon, with 156,000 miles. The cqr has been registered in Vermont, where emissions inspections aren't required. I'm going to register in NY, where they are required. I want to know whether there are generally problems with the 1991 Legacy L's exhaust system at that much mileage. I'm new to Legacy, but figure some of you Legacy buffs can give me some advice...on what to expect, and how to maintain. Thanks very much, Jennifer
evolutionmovement
I have the original exhaust on my 1990 with over 240,000 miles. Passed MA stringent emission testing easily. I still have the original alternator, power steering pump, wheel bearings, etc. These cars are very durable and cheap and easy to fix when anything does go. Best site for advice on old Legacys is bbs.legacycentral.org. Steve
