skiibumm Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 My 06 OB has a little over 36k and I've had problems with the transmission not shifting into park. I took the car to the dealer and they replaced the inhibitor switch, and that didn't do anything. Then I took it back a couple of days later, and I could hear the service reps talking about how to fix my car. Bottom line the linkage from my tranny to shifter is rusted out. I can't see how there are more subarus with this problem. I'm going to have them cover it under warranty. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Down here, we see very little rust on cars. However, the northern cars, can have much more rust. All of that can play a factor.
