FuJi K
Hey everyone, Fuji here. I'm in search of the Legacy NA manifold that bolts onto TGV housings. I have ordered the 2.5i Impreza Intake manifold but from pics it goes straight to the heads. This will make getting new fuel rails, lines and more stuff. SO being I've seen a few pics floating around of the said Legacy manifold, I need confirmation in pics. It has to be '05+ Legacy NA manifold. I need to know if it has TGV housings or not. If so I can purchase a new one from the dealer, bolt it onto WRX top feed TGV housing and use WRX fuel rails/lines for my build. I have a friend that has a '05 2.5i Limited, but some pics of new years '06+ would help. Someone run to the car, take a pic of the manifold in your engine bay!!! Thanks! frostbite3360
2.5i's don't have the TGV's. Not sure what else youre asking for here... But here's a picture of my 05' N/A manifold if that helps. I painted mine red while the engine was being rebuilt.
FuJi K
That is exactly what I wanted to confirm!!! I have placed an order for the Legacy NA manifold now. The 2.5i will be returned. opps!!! lolz Thanks for the picture! I'll try to find some WRINKLE RED for the intake manifold when it gets here this Wednesday. Almost a $280 part with my discount. It will allow more top end power because of the bigger pendulum (sp?) and straighter flow into the runners. My setup is a simple '06 WRX swap with a built EJ22T shortblock retaining the 2.2L of displacement. Will be running a twinscroll GT3076R .78a/r with chopped JDM Legacy 2.0R headers for twinscroll setup. The air will be cooled with a front top v-mount style intercooler. Will be Fueled by BOSCH 1000cc injectors and pressured kepted by a SARD adjustible pressure regulator. I'll think of a surge tank and a BOSCH in-line fuel pump since the car suffers from gettin fuel starting at half tank at the track. Thanks again!!! I'll take pics and post here for future reference for others. Fuji

FuJi K
Okies, just picked up the intake manifold. This thing's runners are HUGE!!! The manifold is also very light for how big it is!!! Of course it's a BARE manifold... but... very nice. They deburred a lot of the casting edges so you won't get cut, but you can still in some spots. Running this manifold requires a FMIC setup. Also we have these fancy seats at our Dealership! I love sitting in them every time I'm there!! http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b121/FuJi_K/2006%20engine%20setup/0415091704.jpghttp://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b121/FuJi_K/2006%20engine%20setup/0415091658.jpg http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b121/FuJi_K/2006%20engine%20setup/0415091658b.jpghttp://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b121/FuJi_K/2006%20engine%20setup/0415091658a.jpg

boggles36
I am new to this website, and new to upgrading my 08 Legacy 2.5i special edition MT5. I want to upgrade. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not even sure what the 'NA' stands for in this thread.
