heathcom
I thought it was tranny fluid leaking but I was checking the diff fluid, doh! Which is just clean oil looking almost yellow. Anyways, upon further inspection, the leak is coming from the valve covers dripping right on the exhaust pipe coming down. This looks like a fairly easy job, is there anything I should be concerned with before I tackle that?
Bdubs
What year/model/engine type is your subie? You should fill out your info in the User CP, it makes it easier for us to reply knowing your year and model car. The valve cover gaskets are easy, you don't even have to drain the oil to remove the covers. But, if you have a DOHC, you'll also need the spark plug tube gaskets. The SOHC engines didn't have the plugs in the valve covers.
