History does not entrust the care of freedom to the weak or timid

People sleep peacefully at night cause rough men stand ready to do violence on there behalf

I know the feeling, i never liked the woodgrain trim. I had a couple days and decided to disassemble my HU and trim and paint it

Took me a couple days because i did the wood trim first and then the head unit, my spray painting skills aren't the best, i might have to go back in and redo a couple pieces, but i'm happy with the way that it came out.

So I finally caved in and went for one of the dash overlay kits. I ordered it from http://www.wooddash.com/item/SUBARU_Dash_Kits_LEGACY_2007_UP_2 in the real carbon fiber {CF Black Carbon Fiber}. Just finished putting it in. For the most part, all of the pieces fit very nicely and were well cut. I didn't use the cubby hole piece because I put in an aftermarket navi screen and it didn't quite fit right. All of the parts are sticky taped and the tape is very sticky. The parts seem to be very durable and have a gloss finish. It doesn't cover the wood pieces, but I'm thinking of going with some of R-Rev's pieces in silver cf. Here are some pics.....
