natoli4 Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 So, most of you are familiar with the few options that we have as far as replacing the aging mats in our Subarus. I had a 2002 WRX Wagon and after a few years the mats we in sad shape. I ordered a set of Prodrives but those too were not much better.... Anyhow, A friend was looking for something sporty for his 997 Twin Turbo and I came up with these mats as an idea to change up the interior and give it a more sporty feel. I started thinking about doing a set for the WRX 02-07 as many people have aging interiors and this might be a good option for those who are looking for something different. I even produced the aluminum prototypes to see how they looked. So that brings me to this... I'm thinking about mass producing these for the WRX/STI (new and old) and Legacys/Outbacks. Before I invest in the tooling I'm wondering who'd be interested in mats like this for their cars? Please look these shots over and give me your honest opinion! Thanks for your time!
