I had a 2001 Outback before I got my 05LGT MT, although I love the LGT sometime (especially on long trips) I Miss my outback something about it just felt more comfortable than my LGT. scoobydoobie Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 I had a modded 99' forester, and a 95' Legacy L before the LGT. I love the LGT, but do miss the utility of the forester. Much more cargo space, room for two to sleep if need be. I don't know why SOA didn't put fold down rear seats on the LGT until 07', real PITA sometimes when it comes to fitting stuff in there. Hell my 95' Legacy L even had fold down rear seats. I also miss the boxer rumble and handling/braking of the foz, but these issues will be adressed on the LGT in due time .
