mrjk77
i'm usually about 17-19 for city and i've gotten it close to 30 mpg on highway. i think my average between oil changes is ~21-22 mpg. granted, i do 90% city driving. my worst tank was like 11 mpg. i think that was the day i went from stock to stage 1. so, i think your highway numbers seem a little low, and the city seems "reasonable." peteyjr
This weekend I took a cruise down the Fla Keys . Drove a steady 45 mph without gunning the throttle the whole way down. Got over 400 miles to my tankfull and over 26 MPG.
JSaladino
Nice! (Where in the Keys BTW? I have family in Marathon/Big Pine area) As far as gas mileage goes, Stage II is definitely the way to go! I got about 24 mpg on the hwy stock, then I went Stage II summer '07 and I am getting 26-29mpg on the hwy now doing about 5 over the speed limit. scoobydoobie
Good to know stage 2 can help gas mileage if you keep your foot out of it. I average 17 mpg but my driving is also 95% city.
Scruit
My 50/50 mix of country roads and freeway commute for 50 miles per day = 21.5mpg When I do a long freeway run I keep it at 65mph and get 31 or 32mpg.
