I just drove my OBXT without my box on for the first time, and the whistling was horrible, even over loud music (Zutons, generally). I'll make it until March with the box, but I'm afraid I might have to pop for the Thule fairing when kayaking season comes back. Any thoughts? After seeing that, and the brown wagon in subie sport I drew a pic of an 05' outback done up with a lift and some offroad gear. ChE Outback XT Posted March 30, 2005 Share Posted March 30, 2005 Just added a fairing to my Thule, as well. Wind noise is almost completely gone. I actually went with a huge fairing (my ski shop gave me a deal as it was a special order someone bailed on) and took off the plastic end caps. It works well and looks better, in my opinion.
