blue subie Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 so i know the 2007 seats can be wired up to work on the 2005 legacy but im thinking of putting 2005 leathers into my 2007 2.5i. couple of questions -is the 2005 harness plug and play into the 2007? if not does anyone know what is required? - my seat is not powered. I know 2007 power seats are plug and play but was wondering if anyone knows if they 2005 ones are? - my heat control is on the dash and not the center console like the GT/models with leather are. Do I have to buy that piece and then rewire or is it plug and play? all help would be greatly appreciated thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zmarko Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 I believe someone's done something similar before (although it was specific year to year: like '05 to '05). And they found that the car was wired for power seats, they just didn't come with them. But this was some years ago, so you might want to do some research (searching) for a better answer as I could be mistaken. As for the seat warmers, you'll need the seat warmer control that's on the center console, as the control on the dash has no control of the seat warmers. 06Limited Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 From what I remember the plug for the air bag sensors changed for the 2006 model year, so you would have to work around that.
