08 LGT with adjustable STi Performance coilovers?

Im just getting an idea first to see if this will be possible, will be a while until i will attempt

 

So Far this is what i found out

Suspension is not interchangeable between 05-09 Legacy and 08+ Impreza - well, maybe front struts, but not rears.

What will fit:

From - Any spring/strut combo made for MY02/03 Impreza WRX/RS/L

To – MY97-99 Legacy GT/L/Outback wagon/sedan

-does not concern me cause my is a later version but maybe possible to do swap STi/SPT

 

Reason for doing STi/SPT parts on my LGT, my dad bought the 6 year/60K warranty, i do not drive much in a year so more like 6 yrs i also tend to break things thats why its 6 yrs, so i am supposed to be limited to subaru performance even thought some dealers do not care. and i want to be one of the few subarus with full STi/SPT performance mods

 

Since STi do not make adjustable coilover suspension for LGT, i guess ill have to use the impreza if possible. I do understand STi/SPT parts will be more expensive, i do not care, I just want to know if this will be possible to do without much modifications to the car.

 

Mainly what it comes down to which year Impreza suspension will work on 08 LGT

Reason i am looking for adjustable damping is because it is also a family car so the ride needs to be soft/comfortable for road trips. but when i want a street car i can make the dampers stiffer
